1982 Laverda 1200 TS (D262)

Recent refresh of Legendary Laverda Flagship. This very original Laverda 1200 TS is a rare example of a special motorcycle, an “Executive Jet” on two wheels. Top of the line of Laverda triples when introduced with a focus on sport touring performance and comfort. A remarkable example of a unique Italian sport touring bike in very clean condition … a great addition to any serious collection and an exciting machine to ride.

This Laverda has a unique provenance.  The Bike was originally purchased in1982 from Neri Aurelio in Italy.  It was bought from Filippo Brettoni in 1989 (brother of racer Augusto Brettoni).  It was restored by Augusto Brettoni in 1992.  Then it was sold to Piero Laverda who resold it to Cor Dees few years later for display at his Laverda museum.  Finally the bike came to the Museo Moto Laverda in Breganze together with the Cor’s collection.

This Euro-spec Laverda has been preserved to a fine standard by Cor Dees, marque specialist and collector. It was one of the bikes sold to Museo Moto Laverda when they acquired the entire Cos Dees museum collection. Very low original mileage - showing only 6,987 miles (11,245 KM) and ready for many great adventures. Overall cosmetic condition is clean and very original. Paint, bodywork, seat, wheels, chrome, instruments, tires etc. all in excellent condition. This bike is very faithful to the original specifications. Recent refresh includes mechanicals gone thru and serviced as needed by Museo Moto Laverda technicians … runs and rides like new.
