2007 VESPA LX50 GAP Special Edition “Crazy Stripes” (C7)
A rare find this 2007 VESPA 50 has only 13 miles on the odometer and is a Limited Special Edition “Crazy Stripes” created for the GAP as a holiday promotion. The Vespa was a prize won at the taping of “The View”. The winner was an elderly woman who never rode the scooter. Most recent owner bought the Vespa in New York and brought it to San Francisco a year later. It was never registered in either state. It has been in storage since, except for a maintenance service in 2016. We performed a new service recently to get it ready to ride and are now offering the VESPA LX50 for sale. It is in almost new condition and features the unique Special Edition “Crazy Stripes” livery
The 2007 Vespa LX50 is a premium scooter with many neat features including both kick and electric starting and an automatic transmission. The Chassis features a smooth riding suspension and a front disc brake with an 11” tire. The dual saddle is very comfortable with plenty of room for a passenger. There is lockable underseat helmet storage and a legshield glove box. Instrumentation includes a fuel gauge and digital clock. There are dual chrome mirrors and a rear handrail. Lights are bright and include turn signals. Overall condition is excellent.
The performance is modest but just fine for city duty or casual country rides.
