1984 VESPA PK125 S BIANCO (BM364)
Rare and special the PK 125 S features a zippy 125cc 2-stroke motor with both kick and electric start and a 4-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration is snappy with 6.8 HP and top speed is around 50 mph. This innovative Vespa is in very clean, original condition with just 3,658 miles (5,887 km). Complete and overall in great shape, with some patina, minor chips and scratches. Mechanical condition is excellent. The 125 S was the top of line model with a handy lockable compartment on the legshield. Comfortable dual saddle is fitted.
This scooter is in clean “daily driver” condition, so you won’t mind really using it. Still it looks quite nice, and the small imperfections here and there lend it the authenticity that only time and use will bring. Most of these PK 125’s were used and abused, and consequently, this scooter was a real find. The Italians really liked hot-rodding these scooters, and there are a plethora of upgrades available, if you want to go down that route.
The PK range was an updated version of the previous “small frame” body design introduced in the early 1980’s. The PK took everything that was great about the small frame, and put it in a more modern package.
The PK’s are light and nimble, and they just handle fantastic. All the PK’s are a blast to ride, especially so with the 125cc motor. Unlike the previous small frames, the PK’s boast modern 12 volt electrical systems, turn signals, and bright lights.
Very rare and special Vespa model with automatic transmission, excellent performance and handling. Classic style with modern updates make for a perfect SF city scoot.
