1982 Laverda 1000 RGS (D325)
Flagship of the Laverda triple series the 1000 RGS features elegant body work and exceptional performance. Features a uniquely tuned 120-degree Jota engine that distinguished the RGS from Laverda's other 1,000cc triples. Styling details include an aerodynamic half-fairing that blends smoothly into the generously sized fuel tank. Chassis mods included a lowered frame and altered steering geometry that made the RGS more stable and easier to handle. It could reach 140mph and turn the standing quarter mile in a little over 12 seconds. This stunning example has been treated to a flawless restoration carried out by the Laverda Museum of Breganze. The restoration included a full mechanical and cosmetic refresh to exceptionally high standards.
