1974 Vespa Rally 200 White with Black Stripes (BM447)
Acquired from a bay area enthusiast, this Rally shows with a largely original finish and ample patina. The motor is basically stock and in good running condition. A Ducati coil has been fitted to provide easy starting and consistent performance. An aftermarket front disc brake conversion has been fitted and works very well. Michelin tires fitted in very good condition. The bike is fitted with the oil injection system. The finish has been touched up, but still shows some scuffs and scratches. Nice seat. Cowls have a few scuffs and do have the factory holes for turn signals. A great daily driver and a serious value in a Rally 200.
With the Rally, the Vespa reached an excellent balance of classic style with modern performance. On the road, the Rally is a joy to drive. It has a smooth and powerful motor. That, coupled with the large and comfortable dual seat, make this scooter that anyone would be proud to own and drive. If you only have one classic scooter, the Rally would be at the top of any list.
