1972 Moto Guzzi Military (D197)
After the first series built for the army, Moto Guzzi unveiled a renewed version of the Falcone: the Nuovo Falcone, sold from 1971 onwards. The engine had electric ignition and the oil tank was separate from the casing. The frame was redesigned, inspired by the 750 V7 Sport and Moto Guzzi fitted the bike with two aggressive exhaust pipes. One of the most appreciated features of the Nuovo Falcone was its simple construction, allowing it to be serviced even by non-expert mechanics. The main versions included the military (green) and civil models (red frame, white tank, long saddle, electric ignition and rev counter).
Deigned originally for Military and Police then later sold to civilians.
