1969 LAMBRETTA Li125 Series 4 (L82)
Exceptional, very original example of one of Lambretta’s most unique models.
We located this excellent classic in an Italian collection and decided to import it as it simply is too cool and too rare. It is in good condition with massive patina that accentuates the originality. The special blue/green paint color is a distinctive touch.
Bodywork is complete with all badges and trim, tandem solo seats are in great shape.
There are few dents and dings and some minor surface rust, but overall this classic wears its age of over 50 years quite well.
Mechanically sound and ready to ride, starts, runs and goes pretty well indeed.
Odometer shows 25,816 miles (41,548 km ) believed to be accurate.
Introduced after the forward thinking 200 SX, the Series 4 offered classic styling and proven mechanicals, but was very old school and only around 1,400 were ever made.
Super rare today and a holy grail for Lambretta collectors hoping to showcase the full line.
Dated as it may have been when introduced, the Series 4 was a proven machine and makes for a great addition to any Lambretta collection. This bike is a true unicorn.

ABOUT THE LAMBRETTA Li125 Series 4
The Li125 Series 4 is basically a mildly modified version of the Li125 Series 3 which had ceased production in mid-1966 after a long and successful run of over 140,000 units. Most notable changes from the Series 3 were the clip-on side panels and different badges. Why the Series 4 was produced at all is a bit of a mystery, with the most popular explanation being that the factory had surplus parts hanging around from the last Series 3 production.
Introduced after the forward thinking 200 SX, the Series 4 offered classic styling and proven mechanicals, but was very old school and only around 1,400 were ever made.
