1964 Lambretta Li150 Series III (L115)
This particular scooter has a Bello Moto pedigree as we acquired it in just restored condition and then sold it originally a few years ago to an SF enthusiast. It has been ridden only occasionally since and serviced regularly. Odometer shows only 85 miles, TMU, but overall condition is really nice. A very clean and straight Series III Lambretta 150 Li that is ready to rock. Excellent bodywork with a few minor nicks and light patina. Mechanically A1, no issues or problems, ready to enjoy. The Lambretta Li150 was Innocenti's most popular model, and they packed quite a lot of style into these scooters. The previous version, the Series II was a huge seller, and Innocenti updated all their offerings in the mid-1960's to keep up with changing ideas. The Series III was a home-run. These were called the "slim-style" Lambrettas with good reason. Their body work is much more narrow than the earlier Lambrettas. The sleek lines suit the scooter well.
The Li 150 Series 3 was introduced in 1961 and produced through 1967. The “slim-style” redesign is sleek and taut and the Series III is one of the best looking vintage scooters. The motor benefits from upgrades to fuel and electric systems. Performance was improved over earlier models, and well suited to urban duty. This model offers sleek style, practical performance and makes a very good daily rider. Many of these were painted in two-tone paint, as this one is. It is just a wonderful combination, and they sure are striking to look at. Performance is lively and the handling and brakes are capable of dealing with modern urban traffic. A scooter like this is the perfect way to get into the vintage scooter world.
