1955 Vespa VL2T (BM409)
The Vespa VL2T is a classic scooter model produced by Piaggio, the Italian manufacturer, in the mid-1950s. The VL2T is part of the Vespa V-Series, which included various models with different specifications and features. The V-Series offered many updates from the earlier Vespa models. Style wise, because of the headlight, which was now mounted on the tubular handlebars, the VL got the nickname "Struzzo", which means "bouquet" in Italian. The VL is the first Vespa which is already serially equipped with a speedometer.
