The Lambretta Model D was the last of the open-frame Lambrettas that stretched back to the original Model A in 1948. By the late 50’s Innocenti knew that the market was moving toward more “luxurious” scooters with fully enclosed bodywork. The D had the same mechanical underpinnings as the enclosed LD. Of course without the bodywork, the D was significantly lighter. For a 50’s scooter, the Model D is surprisingly quick. This D has been completely restored to original condition. It also sports a large array of accessories that make it a truly special scooter.
