BELLO MOTO EuroDiscovery Program : International Concierge Service for Classic Moto Collectors
CONCEPT : Collectors with an interest in acquiring a very specific vehicle retain BELLO MOTO to locate a suitable example through our network in Italy and Europe. We provide all links matching the criteria specified by the customer for consideration. If a suitable vehicle is located, we make the purchase arrangements, attend to any necessary repairs, arrange shipping and importation into the US and deliver the vehicle.
GOOD FAITH ENGAGEMENT DEPOSIT : The collector provides a $1,000 deposit toward the expenses of the search. These are charged only while we search to locate vehicle candidates. Covered expenses include time and out of pocket costs for travel, communications, photography, shipping etc. + 25% mark- up. Typically the original deposit covers a search period of 90 days. After 90 days a new deposit is required to continue the search.
PROMISE OF RESULTS : We cannot guarantee that the customer will actually make a purchase from the candidates we locate and present. We do promise to provide due diligence in our search and sincere best efforts to locate and present suitable vehicles for the customers consideration. We also promise to provide complete transparency in regard to all billing for expenses and all negotiations on the customers behalf with sellers. In general, we will not accept a deposit unless we feel strongly that we can locate a suitable vehicle, but given the vagaries of the market and collector preferences, we do not guarantee that every customer will find the exact vehicle they are looking for.
TERMS OF SALE : If a suitable vehicle is located and the customer initiates a purchase offer we act as the agent and handle all paperwork regarding the purchase. We charge the customer a fee of 25% of the agreed sale price with the seller. The full price plus our fee is due at the time of the sale in Italy or Europe. In certain cases a flat fee based on final purchase price range can be negotiated in advance, if preferred.
POST SALE DETAILS : After the sale we will arrange for shipping, crating, export documents, import documents and final delivery to any continental US location. We also can arrange for repairs or restoration as required. Charges for all such costs incurred will include a fee of 25% over cost to cover our time and expertise in expediting all post sale details. We can assist in DMV title and registration process in most cases, but these services require a separate fee.
SEARCH CRITERIA : Finding a suitable classic vehicle can be a challenging process as the number of variables is considerable. The more accurately a collector describes their interest and desires, the more likely it is that we can locate the right vehicle. The wider the range of acceptable options, the more likely it is that we can provide a range of purchase candidates.
Year, Make and Model - please indicate all suitable model years and model variants
Color Schemes - specify acceptable exterior/interior combinations
Features and options - engine options, transmission type, AC, misc. items preferred
Condition - Preference for original vs restored, mileage limit or range
Rust & Corrosion - Never rusted, rusted and repaired OK
Maintenance - service history desired or specific services completed
Stock vs. Modified - must the vehicle be in stock condition, if not what modifications are acceptable
Price Range - upper limit and preferred range including our commission fee
