Bello Moto has found a great resource for Electric Vespa Conversion kits. This is a great future for vintage scooters! We are now offering electric conversion kits to convert your 2 stroke scooter to a 100% electrified scooter. Eco friendly, quiet, clean and powerful - our Vespa/Lambretta EV conversion kits provide twist and go operation along with powerful acceleration, practical range and quick recharging. All combined with economic operation and anti-theft protection. We can provide proven, cutting edge technology that allows a wide range of classic Vespa scooters to be run purely on electric power. Exterior styling remains totally original while ease of riding, reliability, economy and environmental footprint are all brought into the 21st Century.
Our kits include a DC brushless electric motor, sinusoidal motor controller, custom made swing arm, under seat battery tray and a single removable LG lithium-ion battery, along with a keyless ignition, battery gauge, all cables, LED headlight conversion and a charging cable. A second battery can be added for some kits.
During the build process we strip out the old petrol engine, electrics and cabling, and install our kit as a direct replacement. Price for the complete conversion includes the appropriate kit and labor to remove gas powertrain and install full electric conversion and LED headlight.
Labor to install any of these kits would be $175 @ 15hrs = $2,625.
Vespa Small Frame Conversion Kits
Small frame scooters such as the Vespa Primavera are light and nimble making ideal electric scooter conversions. Fits all small frames 1963 -1987 including PK. These models can hold one battery. The 64v/28ah battery is capable of a range of up to 30 miles, ideal for your daily commute. We recommend carrying an extra charger with you, to allow you to top up wherever you are or alternatively purchasing a second battery to leave at another location.

Wide Frame Vespa
Once converted, wide mount Vespas have the power roughly equivalent to a modern 125cc engine. These models can hold two batteries. Fits Models from 1953 -1957 as well as GS 150's. Vespa wide-frame models can carry one 64v/28ah battery under the seat and one 64v/28ah battery under the engine side panel. With two batteries installed a range of up to 60 miles can be achieved.

Large Frame Conversion Kits
Once converted, large frame Vespas have the power roughly equivalent to a modern 125cc engine. These models can hold two batteries. Fits all L-Frames 1958 - 2018 including the PX range . The Vespa large frame kit comes in two variations depending on the intended model to be converted. Vespa large-frames can carry one 64v/28ah battery under the seat and one 64v/28ah battery under the engine side panel.

Lambretta Conversion Kits
Lambretta Li/SX/TV series 1 to series 3 and GP models can be converted to battery power. This kit can hold up to two batteries and an additional charger. Lambretta Li/SX/TV models, 1, 2, 3 and GP models can carry two 72v/31.5ah batteries as well as a charger, giving a range of up to 70 miles.
